Welcome to Pro-Hapkido!
Pro-Hapkido is a open style format Martial Arts Tournament encompassing all ranges of fighting: long and short range strikes, joint locks, throws/ takedowns, groundwork and submissions. Pro-Hapkido was originally started as a tournament for Hapkido schools only. Over time, we have found that other styles favored the rules of our tournament (click here for short list of rules) and now we've opened it up so that everyone from any style can come to test their skills on the mat. We are rapidly expanding nationally, to date, there have been tournaments held on both the West and East coast of the US. In the future, we hope to expand our tournament style globally.
Our tournament begins by having fighters compete in their respective weight classes and skill levels until there is a division champion. Each of our division champs then fight it out until there is a single tournament champion. It is a true test of heart and skill as everyone is competing for one goal, to hold the title of Pro-Hapkido Grand Champion!
